About Us

Astir links you to events in Berlin that you want to go to, and would be sad to miss. By definition of the word, Astir means “to be moving around, in motion, or in a state of excited activity” – Berlin offers the events to do just that.

Right now, we are the place for a curated, hand-picked (not AI – we’re reading the websites, watching the Insta reels, taking in the posters) selection of the best events happening in Berlin every weekend. You’ll never see more than 20, and they’ll always be a variety (music, food, cultural events – whatever sounds cool quite frankly). We love doing new and different things, our picks reflect that. 

In the future, we hope to go from picking events we love, to picking events you’ll love: a personalized curation based on your taste. 

Behind all this, we are an Aussie couple who moved to Berlin in our late 20s and quickly became obsessed with going to new events every weekend. Equally though, we felt disappointed when we found out about an event we would have loved to be at, after it had already happened. Astir aims to solve that, so you never miss out.
